EnablePoint announces the redesign of the Daly Restaurant website.
EnablePoint, a Livonia Michigan based software development business, has announced the redesign of the Daly Restaurants website. Daly Restaurants has been a client of EnablePoint for several years, and Frank A. Farren, President of EnablePoint, along with Scott Grace, President of Daly Restaurants, noticed an interesting thing about visitors to the restaurant and the website; many people visit the restaurant and the website because they are re-living fond memories. They appreciate the historic significance of the Plymouth Road restaurant, and the stories they tell while visiting are always interesting. The website now has a place to share those stories and memories along with a photo page that contains original Daly Restaurant photos and other memorabilia from the past 60 years.
A history page is online, listing the exact location on a map where the previous restaurants were located, and the years they were in business. Visitors can post their own memories to share with others about their high school dates, childhood hangouts, or family get togethers.
The website development team from EnablePoint enjoyed the history lesson; Mr. Farren grew up in the same neighborhood as the Plymouth Road location and the two programmers Don and Adam in the development team enjoyed their first Daly experience, building new memories for later years to come.
The website software is designed for the staff to maintain the site content, commonly known as a "content management" website. Daly staff are able to edit the online menu or store by adding or deleting new items, moving the item to a different menu location, etc.
Additional news from Daly's and another key reason for the site redesign is the recent availability of the famous Daly Sauce to be purchased in the store or online. People have been asking Mr. Grace for years if he would bottle the popular sauce so they could use it at home. The sauce can be purchased online or in the restaurant very soon.
